Capital Team Airsoft (CTA) – est 2009. CTA is an active milsim – military simulation airsoft sports club in the greater Wellington region. CTA games on a regular basis on a Sunday although some of our larger objective based milsim games will start on a Saturday and go overnight finishing on a Sunday.
CTA has a dedicated “green role” airsoft field not more than 30-minutes from downtown Wellington complete with bunkers, fox holes and bush tracks. We also have a CQB Arena for quick fast action packed FUN games and with our CTAHQ – clubrooms at the foot of our battle field together with secure onsite car parking it makes an ideal location to play the sport of airsoft.
CTA enjoys all forms of the Airsoft Sport including the faster Skirmishes type games, Milsim objective based games & action packed CQB games. CTA also enjoys traveling to other clubs around New Zealand and hosting inter club events.
In 2011 CTA successfully designed and hosted the NZ’s first King of the Hill national competition. CTA’s Area 51 -King of the Hill where TEAMS from around New Zealand came to battle their way up the Area 51 mountain range in a series of time trialed events, opposed by veteran enemy party and gravity itself.
CTA follows New Zealands Fire Arms code of conduct and proactively puts firearm safety at the forefront of club and sport.
